I have been a writer for over 20 years. I’ll write damn near anything. These are the new covers for the Library Cat Chronicles. I wrote the books and designed all of the covers. All the editing as well.
While I have my own small (vanity, apparently) press called Wild Oak Press. I mostly write SF/F, but can write damn near anything.
- I’ve re-written several film synopses for a former bosses’ clients.
- edited an RPG script and guide.
- written a TV pilot and three very short films.
- multiple short stories.
- several 50-65K novel manuscripts.
- copy for websites.
- a radio play script (comedy, at that!).
- and plenty of other things…
As mentioned above, I can do book covers and other design work, although not my primary love. That’s writing.
On the more “practical” analytical side of things, I also enjoy data entry and seeing how those data points make patterns. Yes, I’m Neurodivergent, thanks for asking. I’m currently gathering source data for a research project I’ve wanted to do for a few years now. All social science-y stuff. No backing to speak of, so this will be at my leisure.
I’m an innately curious person. I never stopped being curious when I hit adulthood. My own observations of my fellow adults are that most people stop being so curious as they reach adulthood. They “grow out of it,” which we really shouldn’t. Curiosity serves adults well, just like when we were kids. That spark gets dim or snuffed out. Mine didn’t.
And it never will.
